North Carolina-based realtor Liz Hurst visited Beazer’s Massey Preserve community for a #DiscoverBeazer Open House event (January 30, 2016). Here’s what she had to say about this East Raleigh neighborhood.
I recently had the opportunity to attend the Beazer Homes “Brews & Chews” Open House event in the popular Massey Preserve Community in East Raleigh. Upon pulling into the community, you could already sense the community vibe as the Beazer Homes team was setting up for the day. After driving through the neighborhood, a homey feeling came over me as I observed neighbors walking their dogs, running, taking care of weekend tasks with their garage doors open. I couldn’t help but notice the amount of people coming and going from the community which led me to believe this was definitely the place to be!
During the event, I was able to tour the community’s Bradley Model. As I ventured my way inside, the Beazer sales team was quick to welcome me in. As a realtor, (and more importantly, a realtor who works with primarily first-time buyers), the welcome crew means a lot and makes quite the first impression.
After viewing the house I started to review the information about the community and different options that Beazer Homes offers. Buyers truly have the whole package when the purchase with Beazer. Working with both resale and new construction homes, I can not emphasize enough how the mortgage lender plays a HUGE role in the buying process and ultimately the closing. Beazer offers a very competitive lead in the lending area, as they do not limit their buyers to one preferred lender, but they welcome the buyer’s to “shop” for lenders through their Mortgage Choices program. Having the opportunity shop around for a lender is crucial, as it allows buyers to find just the right loan to fit their specific buying needs.I also learned about the energy-efficient features in their homes and their “Choice Plans” options for personalizing your space, which are a significant part of the Beazer buying experience. From finding the right lender to saving money with an energy efficient home, and essentially personalizing your home through choice plans, what more could a buyer want?
As I made my way back outside to the event, I noticed Massey Preserve neighbors hanging out, enjoying Carolina Brewing Company beverages and yummy hot dogs, chatting with each other and the onsite agents. It felt like a really engaged community, comfortable and welcoming. I couldn’t help myself but join in conversation with guests, homeowners and the Beazer team!
After working with a lot of first time buyers of new construction homes, I’ve noticed that the relationships and activity between existing homeowners and the on-site agents is VERY important and much observed by potential buyers. When a potential buyer sees a homeowner engage with the agents as if they were longtime friends, this provides a full experience. . . not just a sale. As an agent, those relationships relay to me and provide me with the ability to promote and keep Beazer Homes top of mind when working with new clients!
