Beazer Homes 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year

Beazer Homes recognized as 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Beazer Homes is the proud recipient of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award.  Selected from more than 16,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program, Beazer is being recognized for our outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through building ENERGY STAR certified new homes.

Building ENERGY STAR Certified homes since 2011, every home we build comes with energy efficiencies that lead to significant savings for buyers in the form of lower utility bills.  Be sure to check out the video below to view some of the energy efficiency new home features  available for incorporation into Beazer homes in select divisions.  Additionally, each Beazer home is tested by an independent, 3rd party energy rater to calculate HERS score ; the lower the HERS score, the more energy efficient the home.  For example, a typical new home built to current code averages a score of around 100 while resale homes typically average higher scores than that.  At Beazer our homes receive average ratings in the 50′s and 60′s.  Imagine those cost savings!

    And this is why we chose Beazer Homes for our new home in Mt. Juliet. It is nice to have a large builder so interested in the environment as well as sincerely dedicated to the operating economies of their clients”” homes. This is well deserved and most assuredly earned.
